Questions before you choose

A few practical notes on credits, plan limits, billing intervals, and what is included in hosted Aubrey.

What is a credit?

A credit is the monthly usage unit Aubrey uses for hosted AI model work and hosted tools. Simple assistant messages use fewer credits, while heavier work such as web search, image generation, code execution, long responses, or document-heavy workflows can use more.

Are credits monthly on every plan?

Yes. The credit amounts shown on the pricing cards are monthly usage capacity. Annual plans change how you are billed, but the listed credits are still the monthly amount available for normal Aubrey usage.

What happens if I run out of credits?

Aubrey keeps your workspace and data in place, but work that needs more platform-funded model or tool usage may pause until your next quota period starts or you upgrade to a plan with more capacity.

Do I need my own AI model account?

No. Hosted Aubrey plans include model access, so you do not need to bring a separate API key or manage provider billing to get started.

Can I start free and upgrade later?

Yes. You can start on the free plan, keep your workspace, and upgrade when you need more credits, more assistants, more channels, or shared household capacity.

What counts as an assistant?

An assistant is an Aubrey agent profile with its own context, instructions, and workspace. Higher plans let you run more assistants for different people, roles, or workflows.

What does the document upload limit mean?

The document limit is the amount of file storage available for documents Aubrey can use in your workspace. Larger plans include more room for uploaded context.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. Plan changes are handled through your Aubrey billing settings after you create an account.
